From Country Corn’s beginnings to CWFD today.
CWFD’s story is part of the wider Country Corn Australia business. The original business began in 2009; Sydney City Organics joined the company in 2022.

Our wider business begins
Founder Akshay Munot took over a sweet corn kiosk at Parramatta Westfield, operating under his personal ABN. The business grew through customer recommendations, events and the development of its own sweet corn products.
- 2016
Country Corn Australia Pty Ltd formed
Country Corn Australia Pty Ltd was formed and registered for GST, continuing the food business that began in 2009.
- 2018
Harvestime business acquired
The company acquired the Harvestime business together with other registered brands and trademarks, expanding beyond corn into a broader frozen-food range.
- 2019
Wholesale and home-delivery operations grow
Operations expanded across Harvestime for wholesale supply and Frozberries for retail and home delivery, with each business serving its own customers.
- 2022
Sydney City Organics joins the company
Country Corn Australia Pty Ltd acquired Sydney City Organics. The acquired business became the distribution operation known as City Wholefoods Distributors (CWFD), expanding the company’s wholesale distribution activities.
